Laptop VS Desktop "The Gaming Dilemma"

A lot of people come to me and have it in their head that they want a gaming laptop. I always ask the same question, “why a laptop instead of a PC?” Don’t get me wrong, I build both custom laptops and desktops but I want my customers to know the pros and cons of all things they buy. For instance, a gaming laptop will cost a lot more than a desktop and you don’t get the same spec. Yes, laptops are great for carrying around. However, if you intend on playing games on a laptop you must have it plugged into the mains for your graphics card to work. Without it, you will be using on-board graphics. They have allowed us to take the full spectrum of computing capabilities to anywhere we might feasibly want to compute, and they are doing it faster and cheaper every year. But with the great power these portable computers afford us comes a great need for (electrical) power. Batteries fuel our techno-travels, and batteries
